For a while now google has been my means to look for .ny plugins, just hoping I could come across some good ones. I can’t really remember which ones I’ve come across, but they have been pretty cool but I didn’t know how to use them so they just sat in my hard drive.
So far Google’s search algorithm is getting pretty restrictive and harder to find useful things (at least from what I’m perceiving)
I was hoping this thread could be one where we could all collectively post links to .ny plugins that date back all the way to the beginning of Audacity, unless there is already a thread or hyperlink that could sway the endless amount of searching we all would have to do. There are some really cool ones that I thought I could mention such as the 4x4 pole, in the LADSPA V2 effects.
Such a shame that devs phased out compatibility with those plugins with the newest builds. Also please don’t mention any of the mainstream effects, like duh they’re always going to be there, this thread is for hopefully archived plugs. Thank you guys@!
That’s because the Hilbert.ny does not have a menu. I don’t know what that “manual” (your link) is referring to, but the Hilbert.ny plug-in does not do what the text says.
My guess - The text is AI generated nonsense.
What the Hilbert.ny actually does:
It shifts the phase of each frequency component of a signal by 90°. Assuming that clipping does not occur, there will be no audible change to what it sounds like.
google is just gatekeeping all the good answers or hiding them from the public. the algo is f***ed
so I remember specifically I used to be able to use the nyquist plugins in the newly included realtime effects drop down menu. now absolutely nothing appears? WTF??? im probably going to downgrade a few versions because this is a nightmare . one I cant find good NY plugins to use, there a plethora of plugins, my idiotic self didnt archive any .history repeats itself yet again.
steve whats this? im trying to make my music sound harmonically better , but the mastering software im using doesn’t exactly maximize the sound much better, because of the harshness in my vocals specifically. WHY WOULD U DEVS PHASE THIS OUTTTTT so lame
do you guys know of any plugins that help with transient design?? also I visited your website steve, not that many ny plugs thereeeee. my mixes don’t specifically light the part in the brain that cause stimulation due to… the transients???also looking at the waveform , how could I get the transients to be as consistent as this picture???
