New Member in Members Forum, Limited to Maximum 3 Posts on any one Topic, So now can't Reply to, nor request Help!!

As New Member in Members Forum I find I’m Limited to 3 Posts on any one Topic!
I’ve had replies to my query, asking for more information, and suggesting various configuration changes, but now I can’t Reply anymore, due to being a newbie !
So How do I get Help!!

The website says I can edit one of the previous posts, so I have managed to do that, . . .

But, will anyone notice the additions, or will the new info get missed due to not being a direct response to the suggestion/ questions made by the Tech Support guys?

Perhaps, Should I start a new Topic ??
Or perhaps Create another New Member ??
Or perhaps the Restriction could be Removed ??

(Specifically I refer to the Topic/Thread : " Cannot export audio in 3.7"

Please help as I just cannot use Audacity at all since the update to 3.7 at the moment because of this.

Hi. Thanks for reply.
All new to me and slightly confusing.

I have indeed managed 5 responses as you say.

However, I cannot see my response, to the suggestion by LWinterberg to try FFMpeg v7, after the suggestion to do so.

When I tried to respond having tried v7, I just kept getting a message saying I was limited to 3 replies, and wouldn’t add it!

So my response had to be added as an edit to my post before that.
Hence my reply shows before LWinterberg’s suggestion!

It sounds like the forum software has been set up quite aggressively to limit spam/troll posts. The restrictions will gradually relax, granting you less limited access, as your account becomes known to the system.

If you still need help with Cannot export audio in 3.7, I’d suggest that you start a new topic and include a link to the previous topic so that people responding can see what has already been covered.

Also indeed I started a new Topic: Cannot Export Audio since 3.7 update - Using FFmpeg

but that’s not had any replies at all !

I don’t see the problem myself (I’m on Linux), and while I do see some FFmpeg related issues on GitHub, I don’t see anything that exactly describes your issue.

Hopefully someone that uses Windows may be able to shed some light, but unfortunately I don’t have any suggestions myself.
