When multiple labels tracks are present, I’ve found that File>Export Other>Export Labels… will produce a text file with each label track appearing sequentially.
At times I’d like to export just one label track – just as we can with audio tracks. Is there a way?

By the way, I find labels one of the most powerful features of Audacity – I recently started using them to line up subtitles to the audio from a video and because of the excellent zoom in/out features of audacity, I find this method of subtitle editing better than any of the video editing tools I’ve used. Audacity is awesome.
There’s a plug-in HERE that exports labels and has a few more features than Audacity’s built-in label exporter.
It does not support exporting a single label track, but it does support including the track number, which makes it much easier to see which labels belong to which tracks.
Thanks. I did download it and added it to the folder where my other .ny files are stored. But even though I tried restarting Audacity, it still didn’t work, always giving me a %4f error when I ran it.
But don’t worry, I don’t think I’d use this anyway. Since I have to go extract from the label.txt file, it’s really not difficult to find where one ends and the next begins. I rarely have more than 2 or at most 3 label tracks.
