After a lifetime career in IT I joined the old Audacity Team some 20 years ago (1.2.4 was the release when I started using Audacity). I spent many years doing QA testing, user support on the Forum and editing the Manual - and still do spend a part of my spare time so doing.

My main use of Audacity was to digitize my and my wife’s extensive vinyl and tape collection so that we could play this on our iPods.
