Audacity is unusable

When I try to import something on Audacity, I always get this every time I boot Audacity.

I reinstalled it because when I tried to import something, it just stopped responding. Now, it responds but it just gives me an error message. Can anybody help me, I need Audacity to function.

Which Audacity?

It seems you are trying to import an aup3 project. You don’t import those, you just open them. Or close Audacity and double click on it and Audacity should open by itself.

There may be other problems, but post back what happens if you try that.

Look in “Help menu > About Audacity” to find the exact version number. I’m expecting it is either 3.0.0 or 3.0.2.
