I am a new user.

Hardware:
Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen Audio Interface
Samson C01 Condenser Microphone
Mac Computer

Software:
Audacity

Problem - getting error message “Error opening recording device. Error code: -9997 Invalid sample rate”

My preferences for Audacity seem to be on 48k which is the same for my Scarlett settings.

Any recommendations for a new user to clear this hurdle?

Does audacity have permission to use your microphone ?
