I’ve just recorded a couple of hundred songs from LP’s as MP3’s, and they work fine on the IPOD. But when I make them WAV files, I can’t burn any of them onto a CD. If I record it as a WAV file first, no problem. Please, please don’t tell me I have to do it all over. (Or provide a soothing chant I can use so as not to go totally nuts). Thanks!
Audio CD’s use “44.1 kHz 16 bit Microsoft PCM WAV” files.
You don’t say what CD burning software you are using - I recommend Nero (any version, you sometimes get a light version free when you buy a CD writer and even that will do fine). I do not recommend Windows Media player.
AND make sure that you burn a “Music CD” and not a “Data CD” - data CDs will not play in CD players.

That’s one of the reasons why I recommend using Nero rather than WMP - you end up with a lot less beer mats.
Nero works!!! I can’t believe it (god bless mr. gates and the grief he’s caused). I rolled my eyes when I read your advise about using Nero, but you’ve saved me a lot of time. Thank you.
