Hello, for some time I have been using Audacity to change the tempo of music.
In the past I have used the dropdown ‘Change Tempo - percentage’ option with some success using an online metronome.
In V3.7 I notice a ‘Tempo Toolbar’ and a ‘Play at Speed’ toolbar … a couple of questions please after playing around with these options …
Q1. What is the meaning of ‘85’ in the Tempo window, and as I click up the tempo what do the numbers mean ? I am aiming for 124 bpm.
Q2. After messing with the ‘Play at Speed’ toolbar how do I quickly restore it to 1.000? … the slide bar is quite sticky and I cannot nail it.
Double click in the play-at-Speed toolbar and you get a setting dialog, type “1” in there.
Peter.
Thanks, that’s it … double click
