I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with exporting audio files from Audacity 3.6.4. The problem arises when trying to export audio in AMR, WMA, or M4A format - every time I attempt to send a report, the program fails to submit the report, displaying an error message that says “Failed to send crash report”. However, exporting in MP3 format works fine without any issues. To make matters worse, my internet connection is stable and working properly, ruling out connectivity as the culprit. I’ve tried exporting in these formats multiple times, but the program consistently crashes, leaving me unable to provide any useful information about the issue. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any suggestions or workarounds for resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

This is a know and logged bug that Muse don’t seem to be able to fix (they are stumped as to what is causing this).

Thank you all for the responses.
It seems that updating the FFmpeg library (from avformat-55.dll to avformat-61.dll) has resolved the exporting issues in AMR, WMA, and M4A formats for me. This update has made a big difference - I’m now able to export these files without any crashes or problems.
Meanwhile, the crash report is still not going through, which is a bit of a bummer, but at least I can finally move on from that frustrating part of the process. Cheers.
