for me on Windows 11, Audacity 4 no longer saves the Stored Cursor Position When File Saved.

Nothing gets fixed from comments here on the forum (unless one of the devs drops by and notices). You could go over to Gibhub, create a free account, then create a “New Issue” (green button) and make your suggestion (either as a bug [since it is a regression from AU3] or as an Enhancement Request).
