I HAVE TO SING AT A FUNERAL IN A FEW HOURS AND AM VERY NEW TO AUDACITY AND HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO LEARN TOO MUCH ABOUT IT DUE TO SICKNESS. CAN ANYBODY OUT THERE WALK ME THROUGH THE PROCESS OF HOW TO REMOVE THE VOCALS FROM A SONG, SO I CAN MAKE A CD TO SING BY?
THANK YOU, I HOPE.
Open or import the song. Select the whole song by clicking just above MUTE.
Effect > Vocal Reduction and Isolation
—or—
Effect > Vocal Removal
These don’t usually work very well for most people, so you should decide what you’re going to do as an alternate.

Try not to use all upper case letters in a post.
Thanks,

Left out a step. When the tool is finished, File > Export Audio. Audacity will not make an MP3 without adding special software, but the default is WAV (Microsoft) and that should play anywhere.

Or you might search the internet for a Karaoke version of the song …
