thanks for the replies.
The issue is I make music only from my laptop (electronic music using Loopback to route the audio from programs like Ableton and Cecilia to Audacity so I can record.), so I don’t have use for the hardware or mics and all that. I was having no issues with this-I could overdub, Audacity would isolate which was a track and what was recording and I could hear both and everything would work fine. Its only been this past week where no matter how many configurations I go through, Audacity or the routing program still continues to put all the audio onto the one track I am recording. I looked at the older questions and I assume I have the same problem as this person and yet I still can’t get it to resolve.https://forum.audacityteam.org/t/listen-to-one-track-while-recording-a-second-just-by-itself/53393/2 But I’m curious, where can I find the “Playthrough” options? I added two screenshots if that helps at all, idk.
