Problems with 3.2, and re-installing old versions doesnt solve problem-Please help.

Having problems with new version, will not allow me to monitor audio from my Yeti mic while doing voiceover so just got frustrated with it. Decided to move to a older version but when I install older versions they load ok but dont have the same transport window that had all the options on front panel.

For what I use it for I dont need updated version but when I re-install older versions the audio controls on front panel (circled in black ) are now gone. Pictures attached show better what I mean.

Is there any way to get them back?

Audacity’s toolbars can be customised. See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/view_menu_toolbars.html

You need to use View > Toolbars > Reset Toolbars to get back to the default toolbar layout when going back to an older version of Audacity from the newer versions.

For users just wanting their Device Toolbar back, you can use View > Toolbars > Device Toolbar.
