play, stop, play from where I stopped

Hello,

This must be a seriously FAQ but I can’t find it. The phrases are too generic, play stop from where I stopped.

Instead of playing back repeatedly from the same initial place, how can I have audacity play from where I stopped? Automatically play from where I stopped?

Use the X shortcut to stop and start - Play/Stop and set cursor, also available from Transport > Playing

Pause playing (and resume) used to be the “P” key. Not any more?
