OpenVINO AI plugins and all effects unavailable

Hello all,

I am running Audacity version 3.7.1 and recently downloaded OpenVino AI plugins from here: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/openvino/

I followed the instructions (enabled mod-openvino, saved, and restarted the app).

To my surprise the not only were the OpenVINO plugins unavailable, but all effects were now greyed out.

I checked to ensure that the OpenVINO plugins were enabled - they were. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the app together with the OpenVINO plugins but ended up with the same result.

I have a screenshot showing that the plugins appear to be present and enabled.

I also have a screenshot of the audacity build info which appears to show that support for audio plugins is disabled However, as a new user I could only upload one. Please ask if this info is required and I will supply it.

I am keen to use the music separation tool to see how well it removes vocals from some EDM tunes I have.

Any assistance with resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Effects are grayed-out and unavailable if there is no audio in the project. The will not work until you have selected audio for them to work on.

I have found the OpenVINO music separation working really well - I used it recently to produce an a capella version of Emmylou Harris singing Paul Simon’s The Boxer. The version on the album has a horrible metronomic backing track that ruins Emmylou’s vocals. The resulting audio was good enough for a DJ friend of mine to want to play on-air.

Peter

Thank you, Peter.

The issue is resolved.
