NYQUIST De-Clicker & De-Esser not working correctly on INTEL MAC, working fine on M1 MAC

I use Audacity on M1 MAC and installed Nyquist “De-Clicker and De-Esser”, they do a perfect job!

Now I took the same source Audio-File and possessed it with identical Settings for “De-Clicker and De-Esser” used on the M1-MAC, on an Intel-MAC with the same 3.7.1 Audacity Version.

But when I 0-Tested the two processed Audio-Files (INTEL-versus-MAC), It’s very OFF

When you listen to the INTEL-processed Audio the DeEsser sounds with a time modulation to the intensity of the De-Essing Process (It’s like to things happening not in SYN (Samplerate Audio / Samplerate Process.

ANY Idea what causes this, or how to solve this?

 batear

Check that the Audacity project rate is the same for both.

Hi Trebor,
Thanks a lot - will check on the Intel MAC in the days to come!

(On the MAC M1 (RME Audio-Interface) - you can mismatch Project / Sample-Rates and you get consistent
good results with DeClick & DeEss)
(On the MAC Intel there is a USB-Mic involved as an Audio source / Destination Device)

we’ll see

cheers
