Noise Gate doesn't work at all

Hey,

thank you for your great work, I installed Audacity 3.0.0 today, but I have issues with the noise gate:

At first, it shows me 2 Noisegates, the file with the capital letter doesn’t exist, but it works anyway:

On hitting the OK button here, nothing happens:

If I can provide any more information, please let me know!

This bug has just come to light.
There’s an explanation and a temporary fix here: https://forum.audacityteam.org/t/noise-gate-issue-solved/60781/1

At first, it shows me 2 Noisegates

In addition to the fix in that post, you should ensure that you disable all versions of Noise Gate in the Plug-in manager other than the fixed “Noise Gate 2” (noisegate2.ny)

Thank you for the new and bugfixed noise gate, it is a dream to me. :wink: No restriction on length (ok 13 hours…), better control on decay and it’s faster than before. Thank you so much!

The fix is in the Audacity 3.0.2 version.
