I make the first audio recordings, I get a metallic sound, not natural, what am I doing wrong?
Can the entry be corrected?
And how to act so that in the future the recording does not turn into a metallic sound?
It is not uncommon for new users to be recording from the wrong microphone. Use the tap/scratch test to verify which microphone you are using (do not blow into the microphone).
Frequently, when a novice records on their brand new USB microphone, they fail to populate this field. The result is that Audacity can default to the machine’s internal microphone, which, when the speaker talks in the other direction, produces a distant, tinny, metallic sound. Since you have done the scratch test to confirm that you are recording into the microphone that you think you are, I am out of ideas.
I recorded only the second time, and completely forgot about this parameter, but I feel something is not right, the sound after processing has become unnatural.
You’re right. Thank you very much.
