In older versions, from 3.2.5 backwards, when I change project rate (used to located at the left bottom of the program) it didn’t affect the speed of the audio.
However, from 3.3.0 onwards, where the “Rate” function was moved to Audio Setup → Audio Settings, whenever I changed the Rate, it would affect the speed of the audio.
For example, if the current rate of the project is 44100 Hz, and I change it to 48000 Hz, it would speed up the audio. I then had to manually adjust the speed of the audio.
Does any know of a way to avoid this? What settings should I make to stop this from happening?
I’m sorry but this doesn’t work to me.
The bigger the rate’s difference is, the faster the audio plays.

It clearly says in the Manual that the project plays at the Project sample Rate (my bolding):
Project Sample Rate: Changing the Project Sample Rate immediately changes the sample rate at which new tracks will be recorded or generated in the current project, and at which existing tracks will be played, rendered or exported. The Project Sample Rate is stored with your project when you save the project.
