I rip albums, save the tracks individually as WAVs and then reimport them and save as mp3 - using the multiple files option. Having filled in the meta data at the start, it’s really annoying that the multiple files option replaces each track title with the filename (particular if some of the characters have to be removed to create the filename).
Even worse, if saving a compilation with different artists, it changes the artist to the same one on all tracks.
This has not worked for a long time, if ever. I reported it years ago, and as far as I can tell it was never addressed. I’ve literally had Beethoven symphony movements listed as being from the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album after a batch conversion to MP3s. I tested it again recently in 3.5.1 and it still doesn’t work (have not downloaded 3.6 yet). If I were you I’d find another app to do what you want; and if you find a good one please let me know.
