Multi-View is very cool.
Can we please have a setting that enables it by default (just like we can pick spectrogram or waveform as default currently)
I already responded to another user who wanted this.

Still can’t do this, in 2025. I’d really like it as a feature!
I am certain that I have my Audacity set to default to multi-view when an audio file opens. I know this because when I am going to be opening some very large files I will disable it first because it takes much longer to load them with multi-view turned on.
Ahhh!.. It exists!.. Edit → preferences → Tracks → Default View Mode.
On my Mac running version 2.4.2 I can only select either Spectogram or Waveform in the default view mode preference. I’ll update it and see if that changes…
