Is it possible to move a clip by a set amount of time, i.e advance or retard by fractions of a second? I am trying to place a drum track at a precise position after an orchestral intro but just can’t seem to get it smack on by dragging and seem to be what is probably milliseconds out each time. I may get there eventually but have other tracks coming in over a period of time so may have the same problem here. I am using Audacity 2.x
Just realised, if I expand the time scale, I would get more accurate dragging. The time scale is quite compressed at the moment. I may not have needed to ask the question inthe first place. I will give this a try.
you might tey setting a temporary label to where you want to drag to - the labels exhibit a sticky/magnetic behavior.
