Moving clip to a different track changes its name

I’m used to adding several clips (songs) to one track, and when doing so, each clip retains its own name (song title). In 3.6.1, if I drag the clip, it keeps its old name. If I used cut and paste, the name changes to that of the new track plus a suffix (eg existingtrack 1). Is this a bug? Or an option I can change somewhere (somewhere not that obvious, I’ve looked!)? This is a known and logged bug that has already been fixed for the upcoming 3.6.2 release:
