Microphone Not Identified

Audacity Version 2.3.1
Mac OS X Mojave 10.14.2

I just recently updated to the latest edition of Audacity 2 days ago and my Blue Yeti USB microphone cannot be used for recording on a track. It identifies the microphone as plugged in but whenever I record a track even with the mute off on the mic, it doesn’t record on the track. Does anybody have a similar issue? And is there a way to solve this?
