Hello people.
I’m currently creating a sound file that consists of superimposing several stereo tracks onto each other. Of course, this has them all layered vertically in my workspace window.
What I would like to do is to “draw a virtual line” vertically down the entire height of my workspace to mark key positions so that I can drag the important parts of the various tracks into position quite simply and easily.
It seems to be such a logical way of proceeding but I can’t seem to find out how to draw my line.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could do this, please?
I’m using Audacity 3.7.4 on W10
Thanks
Workaround wold be to:
- drop a temporary label at you place(s) of alignment
- drag tracks till you see the yellow snap guide as you reach the label
