Hello all, I started my journey a little while ago into the voice world. I have my booth and sound all set up and am finally working on practicing my editing and processing skills. I am wondering if someone who does this quite frequently would be willing to take a listen to my first fully processed mp3 and give me some feedback. Is it good, is it too processed, and if it needs some adjustments what you would recommend.
My goal is to refine my process and start doing some side work on ACX eventually.
My process so far was to record, get noise profile of room tone, use noise reduction, RMS normalize, Limiter, noise gate, i then replaced any in between sentence breaths mouth clicks/noise with my room noise, I did use De-clicker and De-Esser but they didnt seem to do too much. last step was my S’s were still pretty sharp so i went through and used a filter EQ to tone them down on each individual S that needed it.
