I made a live recording that ranges from loud band noises, to quiet conversation and acoustic music. I’d like to use audacity to elevate the volume of the quiet parts so everything is closer in similar volume. How does one do this in audacity with the filters? Compressor?
I am familiar with audacity but not with the effects or any enhancing such as this.
