I am using Audacity 3.7.7 on Ubuntu 26.04.
I am trying to capture all output to the speakers, that which is output from sound card, including system sounds.
I tried the pavucontrol method as another post mentions: Record Speaker Output on Linux - Linux Windows and android Tutorials which did nothing.
The input eg: youtube, is sent to speakers, but there seems to be no way of capturing it. It just gets picked up by the built-in microphone, and the result is a very soft, and tinny, recording.
This was so basic before I upgraded.
