Hi, jozefh. I know this took some time to put together, so I just wanted to take a few minutes of mine to say thank you, because this plugin saved me and my partner a significant amount of time and some money as well. We’re recording a full-length audio drama of a novel we co-wrote, and one of our voice actors sent us back the full recording of a character in a room with significant echo on the entire track. It was problematic enough we were considering re-recording until I found your plugin and was able to clean it up. So a big thank you to you for your efforts! They helped us big-time with ours!!!
Jozef,
I interviewed a distiller in a large, concrete warehouse full of barrels on steel supports. It was the only quiet room onsite, but the echo was pronounced. My listeners have been very tolerant of so-so sound quality – I almost always interview people onsite, and sometimes that means background conversations, machinery, animal noises – but this was pretty extreme.
A search led me here, and I read through the whole thread, and downloaded your plug-in. The interview was two mono tracks, about 38 minutes long. I broke the interview into two segments for the plug-in, just to be careful, and used it separately on the four segments.
The results are marvelous. There is still a small amount of echo, but nowhere near the ‘bottom of an empty swimming pool’ sound it had before. Thank you!
Steve,
Having read/skimmed through the thread, I have to add my thanks to YOU for all the help extended to Jozef on this plug-in. It works quite well here in 2025. Thank you both.
Lew
