I upgraded to the most recent version of Audacity. When attempting to copy and paste a selection of audio into a new file (to make a clip), Audacity freezes and if I click on “Paste” again, “Not Responding” pops up. Eventually, it will paste, creating a clip, but it took 5 minutes. I actually timed it twice. I uninstalled and re-installed Audacity. I even tried installing earlier versions. I wish I had never updated Audacity and just continued using the older version that I had been using, with which I never had a problem. Any solutions?
