Compressor User Presets are not working!

Question: I just downloaded 3.6, and I can see my old saved compressor user presets, but they don’t change the compressor settings when selected. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks! -Tim

I think you will need to reset them - as the Compressor (despite having the same name) was completely replace for 3.6 with an improved version.

I rolled back to an older Audacity. This new compressor is far from improved, it is definitely different but any added functionality seems to have come at the expense of old functionality, It is a mess and I question the thinking of those who completely removed the old one in favor of this one. It is different enough it should be a separate compressor than the one so many people have countless hours making presets for. They really dropped the ball with this

I opted to roll back as well. Didn’t know that was an option. Thank you!
