Collapsed menus and "Solo" button operation in 3.6.1

Hi,
The two-step operation required with the new collapsed Effects menu slows me down a lot. I’m wondering if there is any way to restore or keep expanded menus for Effects?

I also want to restore the previous (correct IMO) operation of the Solo and Mute buttons. It’s no longer a solo button, just a select as it doesn’t auto mute other tracks. I often need to revert to a single track without needing to de-select every other track, it’s just not efficient for me.

Go to Effects Preferences and set the Effect menu organization to be Sort by effect name

Go to Tracks Behaviors Preferences and set the Solo button to be Simple

Simple was the old default, but Muse changed this a while back to make Audacity behave more like a pro mixing board.
