Click Track Generator Not There [SOLVED]

I’ve just started using Audacity, and hitting a brick wall with attempting to generate a click track. The option is simply not there in the menu.

I’m running the latest version of Mac OS and v2.1.2 of Audacity. The install is clean, and I have attempted force quitting the application and restarting my machine.

I can see clicktrack.ny file inside the plugins folder.

Any tips?

Assuming you are also missing Pluck and Risset Drum in the Generate Menu, please see this topic for solutions:

This fixed it instantly for me:

xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Audacity/
