My technics SL-Q2 turntable has 33 1/3 rpm and 45 rpm speeds.
I have some vintage 78 rpm records. can I record at 45rpm and edit to 78rpm. Any suggestions?
Effect → Pitch & Tempo → Change Speed and Pitch.
There are some easy settings for vinyl RPM.
Note that the RIAA equalization is based on frequency/pitch so it will be wrong, plus the actual RIAA standard didn’t exist in the days of 78’s so you might need to experiment with the Graphic Equalizer effect to make it sound it’s best.
Do you have a 78 cartridge/stylus? The stylus for 78’s is “fatter” for the wider groove.
You may find this workflow tutorial useful:

It has a section on: “7. Lower speed dubbing - 33 1/3 or 45 rpm”
