Hello! I want to request the built-in program updater (like Firefox and other soft have). It would great to don’t make the remove/install cycle with every Audacity launch.

As long as we can switch it off, (unlike Firefox).
Why are you having to re-install Audacity every time you launch 
You basically install it and launch it as many times as you like until the next version comes out.

I’m pretty sure he/she meant “launch” as in “version release,” not “launch” as in “startup.”
