Using MAC Catalina. I was using a 414 Microphone, which Audacity recognized. I had to switch to a more simple USB Recording Device, an Insignia NS-CBM19. I can not get Audacity to recognize this microphone. I have gone to Audacity Preferences to select the NS-CBM19. And when I bring up the basic Audacity recording screen, it shows the NS-CBM19, but when I press the Audacity Record button (the Red dot), the recording cursor line starts to move left to right, but it shows I am not recording. Has to be something simple, but I can’t figure it out. Any suggestions? Thanks!
