I just downloaded Audacity for my Macbook Pro so that I can edit audio files on the go (I also have audacity on my Windows PC at home). But I noticed that Audacity looks very blurry on my Macbook Pro. I’m not sure why, as no other download for anything has ever been blurry for me. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance!
This is a known issue for Retina displays. Unfortunately there is no fix yet. It will take a lot of development work to make Audacity fully compatible with high dpi displays, so it is not likely to be fixed very soon. Fortunately, the issue does not affect Audacity’s audio performance.
My Macbok Pro has a Retina display and I do not experience a blurry Audacity - running 10.14.1 Mojave now, but prior to that El Capitan, Sierra and High Sierra.

Perhaps it’s a matter of opinion what classes as “blurry”. Audacity’s bitmap images are fairly low resolution, so they’re not as smooth and sharp as they could be.
