Yes - you have a corrupt file. (“sqlite3.rc”: “11” = corrupt). It is possible that some or all of your data has been lost forever. If you wish to zip up your .aup3 file and upload it to a public file sharing service and post (or PM me) a link, I’ll look at it.
So I’ve taken a quick look at your file and I am able to duplicate your issue. So far, I have had some partial success in looking your project - but I’m not sure how much is recoverable yet. Your project is sizable and I have some conflicting priorities. I’ll expect to have more to report tomorrow…
Unfortunately, I am not able to make significant progress on this project using the tools that I currently have available.
I can recover most of the bottom half of your project, but it seems that most of your data is in the first two tracks, neither of which I am able to recover any part of. And since both of these tracks are stereo, it makes no sense to try the raw data rescue approach.
If you can use the bottom half of your project, let me know, and I’ll extract that and send it your way.
Note that some people get the 11=corrupt error when they have their project on a networked or cloud drive. If this sounds like you, I would suggest moving your .aup3 file to a local drive, then move it to the cloud for backup, etc. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
OK, I tried something else and have been able to recover the lion’s share of the project. I have PM’d the link to you.
Note that some people get corrupt projects when they open them via a network or cloud drive. If you are doing this, I would recommend strongly against it.
I appreciate all the work that you have given and that you put into this.
I save on an external SSD drive directly attached to my computer. I have not experienced any issues using this on my previous projects, especially when using an older version of Audacity.
Hi everyone! I have the same issue but with a code “sqlite3.rc”: “101”. I see that jademan you’re amazing and I want to be respectful of your effort, but do you have any advice what to do or try? Is there any scenario I send you the file same as iamtheandyman did? Thanks heaps!
