I have just edited and exported a couple of tracks using the newest version of Audacity. It automatically saves the songs as joint stereo and it doesn’t seem to have an option to save as normal stereo.
Is there a solution or is this just a mistake by the programmers?
That’s not a solution! I don’t want joint stereo!!! I want the option not to have it.
Note that the “Joint Stereo” encoding mode automatically changes to separate L/R stereo channels when the content of the audio calls for it. There is no quality benefit to forcing L/R stereo throughout.
