I’m sorry, I don’t see the announсement of the audacity 3.0.4 release. It always used to be for all previous versions. What has happened and how to know about the new features, if any?
By default, recent versions of Audacity will check once a day for updates. See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/application_preferences.html
The release manager says that minor release updates (such as 3.0.3 to 3.0.4) do not need to be announced now that automatic update checking is provided.
If you prefer to not have automatic checking, you can manually check from the Help menu: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/help_menu.html
