Indeed - it’s like those great pages that DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) used to have in their manuals which say:
This page is left intentionally blank
Those pages had a purpose (and it wasn’t just DEC that did it): they made it clear that a page wasn’t accidentally left blank when the manual was printed or copied (and I can imagine that some copiers might even skip printing out a completely blank page).
