Windows XP additional downloads

So, I was so excited. I purchased a non returnable turntable to use the Audacity 2.0.3 software to record music off my LPS.
At the last step of the installation process, I kept receiving a notice regarding “application configuration (being) incorrect.”
The forum states I need to go online and download an additional program "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SPI Redistributable Pakage (x86 for 32 bit and (x64) for 64 bit Windows.

My computer is not connected on-line. Is there any way for me to get this Microsoft Visual etc… program onto my computer without being online?

Altough I am technologically challenged, I would not have purchased this non returnable turntable if anything on the packaging informed me that this software would not work on Windows XP.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Download it on another computer and copy it to a USB memory stick, or CDR or other portable storage medium, then transfer it to the computer on which you need to install it.

Audacity does work on Windows XP, but you need to have “Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package” installed.
By the way, we do not sell turntables or any other products. Audacity is free open source software that some manufacturers bundle with their products, but we do not receive any revenue from that.
