Windows 10 nightmare!

Audacity does not officially support Windows 10 yet. Please see Windows 10 Audacity Internal PortAudio error or no devices The first step is to go to the web site of the computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer and see if you can find audio drivers for Windows 10 meant for your specific computer model. Then if you disconnect Line 6/Pod Farm and restart Audacity it might be able to use the built-in sound device.

I understand that there are issues with Line 6 devices on Windows 10, whatever the recording application used. Please contact Line 6 support about those issues. The more people who report issues the more likely they are to fix them.

You don’t say what version of Audacity you are using, but if Audacity doesn’t recognise your built-in sound devices, you could try Audacity 2.0.2 or 2.0.3 from Audacity download latest version. If you have current Audacity 2.1.1 you could try right-click over the installed audacity.exe, choose “Properties” then the Compatibility tab and set compatibility to earlier Windows. However no-one that I know of has said that helps.
