I have been using Audacity on Mac OS and Windows without problem. Now I installed Audacity 2.2.1 on a Linux Mint 19.2 system, and everything is very tiny compared to how it is on Mac or Windows. I have not been able to figure out how to change that, but will not be able to use it the way it is now.
I uploaded a screenshot here so that you can understand better what I mean: https://www.directupload.net/file/d/5658/23n6exr6_png.htm
Your profile doesn’t indicate your operating system. Some Linux Desktop environments have controls to manage HiDPI displays but I don’t know if those controls go down to individual application level. I don’t think that Audacity has a scaling setting to allow use on such displays so,at best, you might have to change the display resolution for Audacity.
Hello, Use scaling factor 2 is not good. Everything is largest. Ideal is 1.5 but this works well only in Plasma. Better is choose own font DPI. The dialogue box for selecting, for example, stereo or mono remains the same size, but the font is larger. See picture. In Audacity 2.2.2 it did not. It’s such a trifle but if there is time it could fix it please. https://app.box.com/s/33pa0a4m208gyonxbwa8z3h28csghxnt
(I use LinuxMint 19.3 with resolution 3840x2160 monitor Samsung 28" version Audacity from PPA)
