Why does Audacity erase my tracks about 30 seconds into a multitrack recording?

I’m trying to put vocals on a track. When I start adding vocals, everything looks normal. Less than a minute into recording, my tracks disappear and I’m left with ONLY the heading. I can’t record BLIND. How can I keep my tracks visible for the entire length of the recording?

This is a bug, it’ll be fixed in 3.6.2
