I assume that’s the correct filename…
I’m bringing up a fresh install of Audacity 3.6.2 on a new Macbook Air - Sequoia. It didn’t arrive with either 36Mastering or ACX-Check. I got 36Mastering from my archive, but where is ACX-Check?

Here. (Yes, you’ve got the filename right.)
You don’t have your old computer? You didn’t back it up? ![]()
It’s still running and yes, I did back it up, but I’ve never had to deal with managing plugins, so this is all fresh territory.
The event that pushed me over the edge to a new machine was, oddly enough, Audacity Forum. The old machine is no longer supported. I get trash instead of the opening screen. They did warn me.
… It worked.

If you ever have to revert to your old computer there is a workaround: via an online virtual browser which is accessed via your old unsupported browser.

Writing that down..

BTW when I tried that free virtual browser I had NoScript and uBlockOrigin on: I did not see it was plagued with advertisements, (& trackers).
