I tried to pitch shift the tracks I’d ripped with EZCD, imported them into Audacity 3.1.2, selected high quality stretching and that was the result, as I said on Sunday if I don’t select high quality stretching this anomaly didn’t occur and all the times were correct. Also if I converted them without the long track the other four track times (which were different running lengths) were correct without the padded silence. It only happened with high quality stretching and the long track included.
I’ve not found any way to make the problem happen, so unfortunately I don’t know why it is happening for you.
Ok, I might just uninstall and reinstall to see if that cures it.
