when recording my guitar,it sounds 2 seconds later

Hello everybody.
When I record my guitar and then I hear what I have recorded ,I realize that it goes 2 seconds later,so there is a gap bet ween sound recording and playing,so it is really a problem when I want to record a new guitar (the finger picking)for example.
Any idea plaese

Whenever I have a delay while recording guitar tracks together, I use the “Time Shift” tool to move and sync it to where it belongs… :wink:

If your sound card supports hardware playthrough you can avoid the problem by switching off “software playthrough” in Preferences (it is off by default).

Some audio devices do not support hardware playthrough, in which case the delay is unavoidable.
