When recording, Audacity detects the sound, but it doesn't hear it well (it's a bit weird)

So basically, for some reason, when i record with Audacity, it detects the sound, but the sound is really silent. I don’t know why it suddenly does this, at it never did this before. I have nothing connected to my pc except for my mouse and charger.

For the first bit of sound you see, i used my normal voice, then i screamed out of anger for the second bit of sound, and as you can see, it detects it, but it doesn’t hear it well. Does anyone have answers to this problem?

audio enhancements like noise-gate & noise reduction could be responsible …

Windows update can re-enable audio enhancements.
