Hi,
It’s been a while!
I am in the process of setting up my new laptop. I’ve finally gone over to the dark side and upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7.
The old laptop was getting a little slow in its old age so it was time!
In the process of deciding what files to keep and what to ditch and what software to download again, of course Audacity was a must.
Well, checking over from my old laptop which is running alongside my new one so that I can easily see what I need and don’t need, I see several things on the Desktop of the old machine straight away that I might need on my new computer.
I have successfully installed the latest version of Audacity to Windows 10. On my old machine on the Desktop next to the icons/shortcuts for Audacity there is an icon for Lame V3.99.3.
I am sure I needed this for Audacity to create a certain file type, but I can’t find any information on set up that tells me how to do it.
I need reminding as with the passage of time, I have forgotten what I did.
Can someone please remind me and possible give me some pointers or even better some links to YouTube.
Please make it simple. As you can probably see, I’m not entirely sure of what I’m doing!
